On July 25th, PRETTYBIRD’s President and Co-Founder Kerstin Emhoff participated in a talk at the 2019 AICP Next Awards and Show in Los Angeles.
The conversation also included Keith Cartwright, the Executive Creative Director of 72andSunny, and Jeff Miller, the Global Director of Business Marketing for Snap, Inc., was moderated by AICP’s President and CEO Matt Miller. Jeff acted as the AICP Next Awards Augmented Reality Jury President and Keith as a judge within the same category while Kerstin was the Viral/Web Film Jury President.
As a part of this new format, audiences were given an in-depth look into the discussion of the advertising industry’s leaders about the past year’s award-winning campaigns, such as the influencer campaign by Samsung for the Galaxy X Fortnite. The four also discussed the incendiary qualities behind Burger King’s “Whopper Detour” campaign, featuring a planned disruption of a live CNN news program.
Lastly, they discussed the viral Spanish ad from liquor company Pernod Ricord, which recorded the touching reactions of a group of people who were told how much time they have left to spend with their loved ones, based on an algorithm.
