Juliette Larthe, executive producer at PRETTYBIRD UK, is a prominent, award-winning producer of commercials, music videos, installations, short films and fashion shows. Juliette has produced commercials for clients including Adidas, Nike, Microsoft, Orange, Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Nescafe, Kia, Mazda and BMW, with directors such as Walter Stern, Shane Meadows, Paul Hunter, Kim Gehrig, Sam Bayer, Isaiah Seret, Melina Matsoukas and Robert Hales, taking home 3 BTAA craft awards in the process.
Over the years Juliette has also produced and developed groundbreaking work outside of traditional film advertising, including an interactive, immersive installation by Jonathan Glazer as part of Intel’s The Creators Project. She has brought together numerous groups of directors to form new and exciting creative studios, including Marshmallow Laser Feast (MLF) – a group of technical creative directors who she worked with on the 2011, 12, 13 & 14 Saatchi & Saatchi New Directors Showcases, as well as U2’s video and super bowl commercial for the track ‘Invisible’, for which MLF devised and implemented a cutting edge interactive lighting concept.
Juliette has also made a name for herself in the music video industry receiving a 2013 Grammy in the Best Short Form Music Video category for Rihanna’s ‘We Found Love’, which also won the Best Video award at the 2012 MTV VMAs for director Melina Matsoukas — the first female director to be awarded that accolade. Videos produced by Juliette have taken home numerous D&AD awards, including work with artists such as The Hives, Spiritualized, Super Furry Animals and Manchester Orchestra. Julliette has produced music videos and visuals for Kanye West, directed by world renowned fashion photographer Nick Knight and recently she produced M.I.A’s first self-directed music video for the track ‘Double Bubble Trouble’. All in all music videos produced by Juliette have taken home over 15 major awards world wide as well as earning her numerous Producer Of The Year awards.
