XO’s Fashion Laboratory is home to a unique collective of engineers, fashion designers, creative coders, leading technologists and material experts who work side-by-side in a quest to make science-fiction, science-fact – whether it’s is defying the laws of physics by making the world’s first flying dress for Lady Gaga, or imagining a world where our skins are digital platforms.
In 2015, XO was honored at the CFE FrontRow Fash-Tech programme for their winning pitch for XOB, a startup aiming to bring their unique designs to the masses. XO’s sensory wristbands, which use their proprietary Emotional Technology, were prominently featured in “Feel the Reel” at the 24th Saatchi & Saatchi New Directors’ Showcase.
More recently, XO worked with Lady Gaga and Intel to design bespoke wearable technology for the artist’s live televised tribute to David Bowie as part of the 58th annual GRAMMY Awards.
