A self-proclaimed comedy nerd, Rami Hachache has been writing, directing, and editing videos and shorts since his early teens. His lifelong fascination with humor, VFX and striking cinematography has enabled him to create a uniquely dynamic, off-kilter vibe.
Since joining the PRETTYBIRD roster in 2012, Rami has applied his diverse skillset to commercial campaigns for global brands including Target, NBC Sports, Old Navy, MasterCard, RadioShack, NASCAR, Converse, and Comedy Central, among others. More recently, Rami has directed spots for HomeAway and Southwest Airlines, as well as a collaboration with comedian Tom Segura for Netflix.
Rami’s comedy shorts and digital campaigns have trended on Facebook and Twitter, garnering millions of online hits. His work has been featured in Adweek, Adage, Huffington Post, Creativity, Reddit, MTV, VH1’s Top 20 Countdown, and Funny or Die, to name a few. In 2015, his music video for comedian Bo Burnham’s “Repeat Stuff” earned him a Webby Award nomination for Best Comedy Short.
In a response to celebrity culture, Rami also co-created social media star Kirby Jenner – the non-existent fraternal twin of Kendall Jenner and black sheep of the world famous Kardashian family. The ongoing viral phenomenon has accumulated over 500,000 followers on Instagram, with numerous press features including TIME, BBC, Mashable, BuzzFeed, Dazed and Vanity Fair, as well as real life celebrity followers such as Pharrell, the Jonas Brothers, Emma Roberts, Rob Dyrdek and even the Jenners themselves.
