A self-proclaimed comedy nerd, Rami Hachache has been writing, directing, and editing videos and shorts since his early teens. His lifelong fascination with humor, VFX and striking cinematography has enabled him to create a uniquely dynamic, off-kilter vibe.
Since joining the PRETTYBIRD roster in 2012, Rami has applied his diverse skillset to commercial campaigns for global brands including Target, NBC Sports, Old Navy, MasterCard, RadioShack, NASCAR, Converse, and Comedy Central, among others. More recently, Rami has directed spots for HomeAway (recently rebranded as Vrbo), Southwest Airlines, Birdseye, Jack Links, as well as a collaborated with comedian Tom Segura for Netflix.
Rami’s comedy shorts and digital campaigns have trended on Facebook and Twitter, garnering millions of online hits. His work has been featured in Adweek, Adage, Huffington Post, Creativity, Reddit, MTV, VH1’s “Top 20 Countdown,” and Funny or Die, to name a few. In 2015, his music video for comedian Bo Burnham’s “Repeat Stuff,” earned him a Webby Award nomination in the category for “Best Comedy Short.”
In a response to celebrity culture, Rami also co-created social media influencer Kirby Jenner – the non-existent fraternal twin of Kendall Jenner and black sheep of the world-famous Kardashian family. The ongoing viral phenomenon has accumulated over one million followers on Instagram for photoshopping himself into iconic moments with the Kardashian-Jenners, whether they be on the red carpet or on their hit E! reality show. This character has also earned numerous press features in publications, such as TIME, BBC, Mashable, BuzzFeed, Dazed, and Vanity Fair, and even a few real-life celebrity followers, such as Pharrell, the Jonas Brothers, Emma Roberts, and even the Jenners themselves.
