Writer and director Megan Park’s debut feature film, ‘The Fallout,’ premiered at SXSW 2021 in the coveted Narrative Competition where it won the Grand Jury Prize for ‘Best Narrative Feature’ and the ‘Audience Choice’ award. The film stars Jenna Ortega, Shailene Woodley, Julie Bowen, and Maddie Ziegler and features an original score by Finneas. Megan also won the Brightcove SXSW award for Best Director, TIFF’s ‘Rising Star’ award, several Teen Choice awards, and took home an ‘Emerging Directors’ award from Cannes Film Festival last year.
Megan’s writing and directorial short film ‘Lucy in My Eyes’ premiered at the 2017 Austin Film Festival winning the Grand Jury Prize for ‘Best Narrative Short.’ She has written and directed campaigns and high profile music videos for some of today’s biggest artists such as Billie Eilish, Gucci Mane, Alina Baraz and Blackbear -which have grossed upwards of 500 million views. Her current list of projects in development include a feature film with Paul Feig’s Feigco Entertainment and a television series for Leonardo DiCaprio’s Appian Way and SONY with Dove Cameron attached to star. She was also tapped to write a feature film for Newline/Warner Brothers.
