The genre-bouncing Christopher Nolan flick Inception asked important questions about about truth, memory, and the limits of perception, but it didn't really cover the most vital one: what kind of sofa are you after? Righting this age-old cinematic wrong is DFS's latest film in the What’s Your Thing? campaign, Thingception, in which a curious female protagonist journeys through sitting rooms aplenty in order to plant her bum on the dream chair. Created by creative agency Pablo and directed by PRETTYBIRD duo Bradley & Pablo [a neat bit of naming inception in itself], this brilliantly realised set-piece doesn't lounge around.
