Candice’s passion for music and pop culture led to the establishment of PRETTYBIRD’s music content division in 2009, shaping it into a global leader through her role as VP, Talent Strategy/Executive Producer. Renowned for her keen eye in scouting and nurturing directorial talent, she has built one of the industry’s most respected rosters, consistently delivering work that is both culturally relevant and critically acclaimed.
An 8-time Grammy nominee and 3-time winner, Candice has produced some of the most iconic music videos of the last two decades, including Rihanna’s We Found Love, Beyoncé’s Formation, Lil Nas X’s Old Town Road, and Kendrick Lamar’s Squabble Up. Championing both established superstars and rising young directors, her credits span music videos, documentaries, digital series, interactive projects, and films for Rihanna, Harry Styles, Jung Kook, Pharrell, Cardi B, Justin Bieber, The Rolling Stones, SZA, Anderson .Paak, Jennifer Lopez, and many more.
On the commercial side, Candice has led award-winning campaigns for top studios, fashion houses, museums, and global tech companies. She also served as showrunner for &Music (Quibi), a docu-series spotlighting Ariana Grande, Martin Garrix, and J Balvin; produced the five-part digital series The Vince Staples Show; and was a producer of Showtime’s acclaimed documentary Ready for War. Previously, she was the President of the 2025 LIA Production & Post-Production and Music Video jury, a member of the Music Video jury of AICP Show, MTV Video Music Awards, and Clio Awards. She also serves as an adjunct professor at the USC School of Cinematic Arts focusing on Music Video and Commercial Production and is a member of the Grammy Academy.
