Candice’s love for both music and pop culture inspired her to create the PRETTYBIRD music content division 11 years ago. Her impressive eye for directorial talent and ability to keep a finger on the pulse of cultural relevance has assisted her in making PRETTYBIRD’s roster and body of work one of the most well respected in the industry. Candice has collaborated with some of the most innovative and imaginative voices– nurturing and bringing their vision to life. Together they have pushed the boundaries of music, fashion, art and film, making strong artistic and social statements across many platforms.

Alongside A-list veteran directors, and while breaking a crop of new talent, Candice has executive produced and produced award-winning music videos, documentaries, interactive experiences, digital series and films for Jay Z, Beyonce, Kanye West, Rosalia, Vince Staples, Anderson.Paak, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, The Shins, Jennifer Lopez, Lenny Kravitz, Charlie XCX, Rihanna, Solange, No Doubt, Skrillex, A-Trak, Leon Bridges, Justin Bieber, Passion Pit, MGMT, Beck, Chromeo, Led Zeppelin, Dua Lipa, Mark Ronson, Jack White, Rihanna, Janelle Monae, Kendrick Lamar, Nick Jonas, J.Cole, as well as award-winning content for clients such as Vice, Paramount Pictures, Sony Pictures, Netflix, Apple, Roc Nation, MOCA, Google, Kenzo and Levis.

An 8 time Grammy-nominated executive producer for her collaborations on music videos with Rihanna, Foster the People, Jack White, DJ Snake + Lil Jon, The Dead Weather, Beyonce, Coldplay and Pharrell Williams, Candice took home the award for both Rihanna’s “We Found Love” and Beyonce’s “Formation” videos directed by Melina Matsoukas.

Most recently, Candice executive produced director Calmatic’s Old Town Road music film for breakout artist Lil Nas X, which has now collected over 244 million views.

Candice is currently in development on the reality series Unsung and the docuseries Adventures of XX, in post-production on The Vince Staples digital series that she produced in 2019, a producer on the Showtime documentary Ready for War, to be released in 2020, and was most recently hired as showrunner for Quibi’s, &Music docuseries, to be released in 2020.
