More widely known as the comedy duo Tim & Eric, filmmakers Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim have been engaged in a vibrant creative partnership, lasting nearly 20 years and yielding multiple successful projects, including commercials, television series, and films.
Their career together began with a momentous start when comedy legend Bob Odenkirk took notice of them and collaborated with them to develop their animated short, Tom Goes to the Mayor, into a television series, which was then picked up by Adult Swim. They went on to write, produce, and direct multiple television series on Adult Swim, and even collaborate with comedy greats Will Ferrell, Zach Galifianakis, and Adam McKay.
The duo is known for infusing their advertising campaigns and branded content with their signature humor, which thrives on confrontations between the ordinary and the absurd. The two have directed for global clients, such as Google, Old Spice, Bud Light, Jet.com, Duracell, Milk, Wrigley’s, GoDaddy, Little Caesars, and Boost Mobile, a number of which have premiered during the Super Bowl. They have garnered multiple awards for their prestigious work, including the Cannes Lions Grand Prix from the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, Bronze Merit from the CLIO Awards, and Gold and Silver Pencils from the One Show Awards.
