Originally from the South of France, Adrien Lagier is a self-taught filmmaker who started as an editor before directing music videos. He has collaborated with the top musicians in France, creating content for artists such as Niska, Lomepal, and Kekra. His work “Rêves Bizarres” for Orelsan and Damso was nominated for a Victoires de la Musique award in the best clip category. Adrien’s tendency to break the traditional codes of hip-hop visuals in his work has quickly led him to get noticed in the music video scene. In 2020, he founded his own production company & creative agency ADEUS to form a space where fresh voices could come together to influence creative, not just react to it.

Roman Bellity, born and raised in Paris, is a 25-year-old filmmaker and co-founder of the production company TABLO. Starting his business at 20 years old, Roman quickly became immersed in the fast-paced world of production and eventually honed his skills as a producer. TABLO has thrived since its inception, which allows Roman to work directly with artists and clients for music videos and commercials. Using his producer’s skillset, Roman was able to effortlessly transition into roles as an assistant director. Absorbing what he saw on set, Roman began to harness his signature style as a director. He cites using the childhood cartoons, cult films, and anime he grew up watching as inspiration for his stylish and avant-garde aesthetic.

Through Adrien and Roman’s innovative approach to production and years of experience in post, they bring a fresh perspective to the commercial space as the budding super duo: Adrien & Roman. Their impactful concepts can be seen in their collaborations with brands such as Coach, Puma, and the highly stylized short for Ligue 1, France’s top national football league. As filmmakers, they are always exploring the boundaries between fiction and advertising by using the staging and emotions we find in cinematic experiences while incorporating their signature style of highly curated mixed media and disciplined aesthetics.
