About

Omar Jones was born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in Jamaica, Queens. He moved to the
Poconos where he went to high school and college and fell in love with cameras and then
moved back to the city to pursue filmmaking. He moved up through the world as an editor and
VFX artist at an early age, taking on odd jobs around the city to make ends meet. Moved to the
3rd greatest city on Earth (LA) during Covid because he started to get into hiking when he
turned 26 and the rest was history.
