Netflix Tom Segura: Mostly Stories

About

Rami Hachache is a director, writer, and producer whose work blends cinematic storytelling with sharp, character-driven comedy. Working across television, commercials, and digital media, he has directed campaigns for brands including Netflix, Converse, Target, Mastercard, Old Navy, McDonald’s, and Southwest Airlines, developing a style that balances grounded performances with bold, high-concept ideas.

In 2025, Rami collaborated with comedian Tom Segura on the Emmy-nominated dark comedy series Bad Thoughts for Netflix. Rami co-wrote and directed the series and is currently in post-production on Season 2. Filmed with the scale and visual language of psychological thrillers and prestige dramas, the show reimagines sketch comedy through a cinematic, unsettling, and emotionally grounded lens.

Rami is also the creator of the viral social media phenomenon ‘Kirby Jenner’ – the fictional fraternal twin of Kendall Jenner and black sheep of the Kardashian family that organically amassed more than one million Instagram followers. In 2020, Rami expanded the character into the self-titled scripted comedy series Kirby Jenner, serving as director and executive producer across all eight episodes for Quibi/Roku alongside Kendall and Kris Jenner.

Alongside his narrative work, Rami has directed comedy shorts, commercials, and digital campaigns for brands including Netflix, Converse, Target, Old Navy, McDonald’s, and Southwest Airlines. His work has generated billions of views online and has been featured by TIME, Vanity Fair, Adweek, Ad Age, Huffington Post, Creativity, MTV, and Dazed, among others.
